Welcome to 1st Yarram Scout Group

1st Yarram Scout Group in located in the heart of Gippsland, Victoria in the Wellington Shire. The group was started in 1910 and closed briefly in 2006. The Group was restarted with the help of the Cook family in 2012, relaunching with Cub and Scout units in the South Gippsland District. In 2020 1st Yarram Joeys started and at the start of 2024 1st Yarram moved to the newly formed Eastern Rivers District. 2024 was one of the most successful years for 1st Yarram with 8 Cubs earning their Grey Wolf, 2 leaders earning their Wood Beads, and 2 adult members receiving Special Service Awards. We move into 2025 with an exciting program for our youth with our Wood Badged leaders Echidna and Stretch running the Cub and Scout units with Rama assisting across both sections.

We are currently looking for a Joey Leader(s) to restart the section in Term 2 of 2025.
